Onyx RIP Center X10 is the entry level version of the Onyx RIP family, with one active printer and one RIP core - but the entry level price belies the power and flexibility within. With RIP Center X10 you can quickly and easily build automated workflows that will boost your productivity and output quality. The software features the same smart 16-bit processing with the Onyx 32-bit Colour Engine used by the higher end versions, producing superior colour output, blends and gradients.

With RIP Center you can print directly from your PC or Mac worksation, and the program will automatically nest your jobs to reduce media waste and increase productivity. It also features automatic Pantone®, RAL and HKS spot colour matching, and new in the X10 release is the PrintMetryx job and cost tracking system.

When it is time to grow your business to the next level, you can inexpensively upgrade to Postershop or Production House, which will give you the high end tools to further boost your output quality and productivity.

Preflight Module

ONYX Preflight contains professional tools that allow you to perform difficult tasks easily and with consistent results from one job to the next. Interactive sizing, cropping, and custom tiling, as well as full pan and zoom, instantly show on your display.

Adapt easily and quickly to your customers’ subjective view of color. Novice and expert users alike will find an intuitive colour correction toolset that allows for quick and easy changes in the Preflight interface. Change brightness, saturation, and contrast for the image globally or for individual mid-tones and shadows. View up to four color filters at once to compare changes, or select a specific color (or a range of colors) and replace it with another to refine even the most difficult prints all without touching the original file.

Cut Server Module

Never before has contour cutting been so easy and productive. Use Adobe® Illustrator® or Corel® Draw to define the cut paths in your image and RIP-Queue to scale, tile, nest, and manage color as needed. Send the image to any printer, which then prints the job complete with cutter marks and a barcode for scanning. Place the completed print in the cutter. The cut device knows just what to do and where to cut. It’s that easy!
