JFX200 2531

Mimaki JFX200-2531 wide format extended flatbed UV printer

The Mimaki JFX200-2531 extended-bed UV-LED flatbed printer is based on the popular JFX200-2513 printer, with double the print area and twin independent vacuum pumps to increase productivity by enabling printing to continue from one origin while the other is prepared. A variety of inks including white, clear and jettable primer are available to suit nearly any application. The UV-LED lamps offer reduced energy consumption and a longer lamp lifetime.

The Mimaki JFX200-2531 GO BEYOND

  • Two origin points increase productivity
  • Print on two 4’ x 8’ boards, position jigs or pre-cut pieces without stopping production
  • Or print on one oversized sheet up to 98.4” wide x 122” long
  • Layout pins ensure proper media alignment at either origin point
  • Twin independent vacuum pumps for user-controllable media switching
  • Standard ionizer bar reduces static-related print issues
  • Variable Dot Technology and Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS) deliver smooth gradients and mid-tones
  • Waveform Control (WFC) produces images that are optimized
  • Nozzle Recovery System (NRS) ensues production and costs are not impacted
  • Select from a variety of inks including white, clear, and jettable primer
  • Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) reduces clogging in White ink
  • Low-energy UV-LED lamps last five years or more
  • Table ships in two parts that are joined on-site for easy installation

Highlights of the Mimaki JFX200-2531

Dual-origin table

With dual origin points, two 4- by 8-foot boards, oversized 8- by 10-foot boards, multiple position jigs or smaller pre-cut pieces can be loaded onto the table for continuous printing. While one section (origin point) is printing, the operator can unload a finished board from the previous section and affix the next board without stopping production.

 Precise placement and hold

Standard layout pins per origin and scale ensure board alignment for repeatable, accurate media placement. Two vacuum zones per origin point hold media flat. Two independent vacuum pumps feed a total of four vacuum zones for maximum media control.

Variable Drop Technology

The advantage of variable drop printing is most apparent when printing color gradations in light or pastel colors. Combined with Waveform Control and Mimaki original inks, Variable Drop Technology optimizes ink droplets for smooth skintones and fine line details.

Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS)

WFC utilizes finely tuned frequencies for each ink’s specific gravity and viscosity to precisely shape and place individual drops, producing images that are optimized even at lower resolutions.

Waveform Control (WFC)

WFC utilizes finely tuned frequencies for each ink’s specific gravity and viscosity to precisely shape and place individual drops, producing images that are optimized even at lower resolutions.

Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT)

MCT continuously circulates White ink and reduces the need for manual maintenance and waste.

Nozzle Recovery System (NRS)

NRS assigns operational nozzles when an outage is detected, ensuring production and costs are not impacted.

UV-LED Technology

Mimaki’s UV-LED system uses less energy than other UV types, has a longer life and can print into media that could be damaged by higher-heat systems.
