Running & Warranty Costs

One of the key reasons that many companies have not invested in UV flatbed technology is not only the initial cost of purchase, but the running and maintenance costs that follow on. With the JFX200-2513, Mimaki have changed this dramatically.

First of all the printer uses around 25% of the power used by traditional metal halide build UV printers. THE LED lamp arrays are instant off and instant on and with a life of over 5,000 hours, should last a typical user about many years. The use of cold cure LED printing technology brings advantages in media handling too with very little heat being generated by the lamp arrays, allowing a wider range of substrates to be printed.
