New Printer - New Features
The new L26500 has lots of new features that add to the capabilities of what was already an outstanding printer:
- Improved media loading and handling system, with an emphasis on textile and soft signage media
- Now wider - with a 61" wide media width - a standard size for textiles
- All new inks and print heads giving an even wider colour gamut and glossier output
- New media loading accessory for faster easier loading of textile substrates
- New heavier duty take up system - with a weighted dancer bar for rolling up textiles under tension
- L26500 now has media clamps to keep unruly media flat and prevent it from touching the print heads
Latex Ink Technology
The HP Designjet L25500 Printer with HP Latex Inks provides high application versatility by printing on a wide range of media families that produce high-quality results for demanding indoor applications and outdoor signage applications with durability comparable to eco-solvent inks.
Latex Ink provides the lower costs and print durability commonly associated with low/eco-solvent ink while retaining the inherent benefits of water-based inks; such as low printer maintenance and odorless prints.
Because Latex Inks are solvent free (and as a result; completely odorless) they are ideal for printing indoor pieces for the home, office and even restaurants. You can also print GREENGUARD and AgBB approved wall paper that can be directly applied to a wall within seconds of printing using HP's new PVC-free Wall Paper.
Easy, Automated, Low Maintenance Printing

With the HP Latex L26500, output is instantly cured and ready for finishing and fitting immediately. In addition, latex inks do not affect the strutural properties of vinyls like solvent inks.

For Wallpaper...
Latex printers have also become the best solution for wallpaper and interior decoration applications. For Soft Signage

With solvent printers, the ink soaks deeply into the weave of the material, which results in muted colours and edges that bleed. Latex ink adheres onto the surface of the textile, and because it is fixed with heat, the ink stays where it is giving beautuflly bright, crisp and vivid print quality.
