The Perfect Marriage...
The Mimaki JV33 printer and the CGFX-II cutter are the perfect partners. So much so that Mimaki have a very special pricing when both machines are purchased together.
Benefits of Separate Print & Cut
|
On first appearance, it is easy to see why some people think that an integrated printer cutter is better than a separates system. Indeed when space is tight there sometimes isn't any choice, and you should look at the CJV30 series instead. However, there are many advantage to a seperate system, all of which results in such stand alone printer and cutter being far more productive: |

- A dedicated printer has many more pinch rollers in it's mechanism, meaning that you can run a full 50m roll overnight/unattended - something you can't reliably do with an integrated machine.
- Dedicated cutters are much faster at cutting than an integrated cutter, and therefore more productive. This is especially true with deatiled and complex cutting paths, where the speed gains are even more noticable.
- Duality. With a separate system you can be printing out graphics, whilst simultaneously be cutting out work that has been previously printed.
- Equipment redundancy. With the separates system, you can use the cutter for normal cutting duties - avoiding the need of having another machine for these tasks.
